Mical Atz Brenzel
Board Chair
Finance Committee
Mical Brenzel has been a member of the Technology Credit Union Board of Directors since 1989. She has served as Chairman of the Board (a position in which she still serves) and has chaired the Investment and Finance Committees.
Ms. Brenzel worked for 30 years in corporate treasury and finance in both the Bay Area and New York. She was Assistant Treasurer at Agilent Technologies, Inc. and Raychem Corporation, and worked in the treasury departments of Amdahl, RCA and Sperry corporations. Ms. Brenzel currently serves on the boards of several Bay Area non-profits, including Peninsula Volunteers and the Mid-Peninsula League of the San Francisco Symphony, as well as on the Symphony's Youth Orchestra and Gift Planning Committees.
Ms. Brenzel has a BA in French from Swarthmore College and an MBA in Finance from New York University.
Kirk Bloede

Kirk Bloede has experience in investment banking, commercial banking, business development, and venture capital. Mr. Bloede is currently a Managing Director with Woodside Capital Partners, which acquired Newforth Partners in 2012.
Prior to Newforth, Kirk worked as a consultant to early stage enterprise and specialty software companies — assisting them in building strategic relationships and raising capital. Earlier, he was senior vice president at Silicon Valley Bank, where he was a core team member in forming its investment banking division. Prior to Silicon Valley Bank, Mr. Bloede was a vice president at Lighthouse Capital Partners, where he sourced and structured venture capital investments for early stage venture-backed companies.
Mr. Bloede’s non-profit experience includes over twenty years of service as both member and Chair of the Steering Committee of the Harvard Business School Community Partners, and former Chair of the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors of the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos, California.
His education includes a BA in International Relations from Stanford University with distinction and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
Madonna Bolano
Compensation Committee Chair
Madonna Bolano is a 25+ year Silicon Valley executive veteran who has built, developed, and optimized high performing teams and cultures in global companies ranging in size from 100 to 20,000+ employees. She retired as the CHRO of Applied Materials, where she reported to the CEO and partnered closely with the C-suite and the Board of Directors to transform the company’s vision, mission, values, and its executive compensation program. Ms. Bolano also worked with these groups to champion the company’s diversity and inclusion efforts, develop and execute a winning strategy, improve employee engagement, close and integrate mergers and acquisitions, and create and staff new businesses and functions.
Ms. Bolano has held leadership positions at SunPower, Lam Research Corporation, and AG Associates. She serves as Board Co-Chair for Teen Success, Inc. She has previously been named one of the "Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology" by the National Diversity Council, a “Woman Worth Watching” by Profiles in Diversity Journal and a winner of the YWCA Silicon Valley Tribute to Women Award.
Her education includes a BA in Sociology, conferred with highest honors from the University of California, Berkeley.
Karen Brochier
Finance Committee Chair
Karen Brochier has over 20 years of experience in treasury operations and deep technical and accounting knowledge in all areas of treasury management. She is currently the Treasurer for BioMarin Pharmaceuticals, where her role includes providing financing and liquidity for the company’s business operations and controlling balance sheet risk. Prior to this, she worked as Treasurer for Synopsys. Her earlier experience includes working for Bank of America Securities in San Francisco as a Treasury Manager, and for Raychem Corporation (acquired by Tyco International in 1999).
Her education includes a BA in Economics from UC Davis and an MBA in Finance from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
Peter Donahower
Finance Committee
Peter Donahower has been a member of the Board since 1991. Previously, he served as Chairman of the Board and has also chaired the Finance committee. He was also on the Board of the Matson Credit Union. He is currently a member of the Finance committee.
Mr. Donahower has served as Treasurer for Advanced Fibre Communications, and was also Assistant Treasurer at Amdahl Corporation — holding this same position at Tandem Computers, prior. Previous treasury positions include working for Measurex Corporation and Matson Navigation Company. He began his career as an international banking officer with Bank of America and has more than 25 years of banking and corporate treasury experience.
His education includes a BA from DePauw University and a Masters in International Management from Thunderbird (Garvin) Graduate School of International Management.
Todd Harris
President/Chief Executive Officer
Todd Harris is the CEO and President of Tech CU. An industry veteran, Harris has more than 25 years’ experience in financial services, including in the banking, credit union and leasing company sectors. Under his leadership, starting mid-2016, Harris pioneered a range of new organizational capabilities and strategic growth initiatives, and in 2017 fostered Tech CU’s push to partner with several fintechs—a move few credit unions can claim. His strategic decisions have served as the catalyst for Tech CU’s unprecedented success—exponentially growing membership by 73% to over 130,000 during his tenure. Harris’ commitment to an organization-wide focus on member satisfaction has resulted in Tech CU’s volume of 5-Star Yelp ratings increasing by 61% between 2018 and 2019, while member complaints decreased 55% over the same period. For the past three years, Standard & Poor’s Global (S&P) recognized Tech CU as one of the top 10 best performing credit unions in the nation, and among the top 3 performing credit unions in California. In 2021, Harris won a CEO Silicon Valley Business Journal C-Suite award, which honors top executives in Silicon Valley whose leadership has made a profound impact on their company.
As evidence of Harris’ vision, Tech CU has been an innovator in the area of solar financing through partnerships with companies such as Tesla and Sunlight Financial. To date, the company has funded more than $1.2 billion in residential solar loans, helping more than 35,000 homeowners across the country save money while protecting the environment. In addition to helping its members go green, Tech CU implemented steps to reduce its own non-renewable energy consumption by 40% through efforts such as replacing all lighting with energy-efficient options and installing solar panels at its headquarters.
Prior to becoming CEO, Harris joined Tech CU in 2010 as CFO and COO. Before joining Tech CU, Harris was CFO at Alliance Credit Union, where he was instrumental in steering the company through the 2008 recession and back to profitability. Prior to Alliance, Harris was CFO for Pentech Financial Services. He also spent 12 years at Silicon Valley Bank, where he held the position of SVP, Finance and Strategic Planning.
With extensive expertise in economic theory, asset liability management, Fed policy, financial markets, risk management and product development, Harris is a regular commentator on economic issues. He has also leveraged his strong financial background to publish articles in VentureBeat, CUNA News Now, Payments Journal, Credit Union Journal and more. In addition, Harris is on the Board of Directors for Tech CU and regularly collaborates with The Bay Area Council.
Harris is also active in the community and has volunteered at Tech CU events with the Family Giving Tree, Stand Up for Kids, Second Harvest of Silicon Valley and The Tech Interactive.
Education: BS in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from San Jose State University.
Deepti Jaggi

An expert at transforming businesses through technology and advanced analytics, Deepti’s experience includes serving as President and Chief Marketing Officer of Clinakos Inc., a Silicon Valley company at the forefront of applying artificial intelligence and digital technologies to healthcare and life sciences. Deepti helped transform Clinakos from an up and coming startup to a successful, revenue generating company. She has also served as an advisor to multiple venture capital and private equity firms including as a consultant to TPG Capital. Her prior work experience includes more than a decade of increasing responsibilities at Johnson & Johnson, Genentech, Kaiser Permanente, and Oracle Corporation through which she worked at National Institutes of Health.
Deepti has served on the board of Tech CU since January 2020. She also currently serves as a Co-Chair of Stanford Women on Boards, where she has been serving as an Advisory Board member for the last seven years. In the past she has also served on the boards of both non-profit and private companies.
Deepti has a Pharm. D from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Barbara B. Kamm
Board Vice Chair
Barbara Kamm is the former CEO and President of Tech CU — retiring in May 2016. Prior to Tech CU, she had a long and accomplished career in banking, starting at First Interstate Bank in Los Angeles where she ran credit training for the bank's branch system. She next headed commercial lending at Marine National Bank, a de novo bank in Irvine, CA, and opened and managed the Orange County office of National Bank of Long Beach. Ms. Kamm joined Silicon Valley Bank in Southern California and became the regional manager there before moving to Northern California as the bank's Chief Administrative Officer.
During her 10 years with Silicon Valley Bank, Ms. Kamm worked with many entrepreneurs, start-up businesses, venture capitalists, and industry associations to meet the financial needs of the technology community. She also operated her own Bay Area-based consulting firm to provide strategic, organizational and financial advice to young tech companies and financial institutions. Among her clients was New Resource Bank of San Francisco, where she advised the Board through a CEO transition.
Her education includes a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and Pacific Coast Banking School.
Sunil Nagdev

Sunil Nagdev is currently senior Vice President, Worldwide Services and Support at Imperva, where, since 2014, he has been responsible for building and scaling the company’s services and support team. Sunil worked at Imperva during an earlier period (from April 2008 to January 2011) as the company’s Vice President, Worldwide Services. Between Imperva appointments, Sunil was Senior Vice President, Global Services and Support with Coverity, Inc., a provider of software quality and security testing solutions. Prior to his roles at Coverity and Imperva, Sunil was Vice President, Worldwide Professional Services and Technical Support for Tablus Inc., a leading provider of Data Loss Prevention solutions acquired by EMC; and Senior Vice President of Worldwide Professional Services and Technical Support with Verity Inc., (renamed Autonomy Ltd. after its acquisition of Verity).
His education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Chico State University.
Carol MacKinlay

In her various roles as Chief People Officer, Carol is responsible for global recruiting, talent management, employee engagement and corporate governance programs. She has been a successful executive for Binance.US, a key U.S. cryptocurrency exchange; Plantronics (NYSE:PLT), a premier electronics manufacturer; Xero (ASX: XERO), vendor of beautiful accounting software; Coverity, now the Software Integrity Group of Synopsis; Matterport (NASDAQ: MTTR), an immersive 3D media technology company; and UserTesting (formerly NYSE: USER), a video-first platform to experience how real people engage with products, designs and brands. In these roles, she created and executed programs to drive business strategy, achieve cost-efficiency, compensate fairly, ensure inclusivity, and develop world class company cultures.
Linda Itskovitz

Linda Itskovitz joined the board in 2024, bringing over 30 years of experience as an accomplished marketing executive with extensive expertise in the fintech and technology sectors. She has held senior leadership roles, reporting directly to CEOs, at companies ranging from consumer and SMB-focused to enterprise. Notable positions include Chief Marketing Officer at Quicken, Founding VP of Marketing at Bill.com (NYSE: BILL), VP of Global Marketing at Matterport (NASDAQ: MTTR), and VP of UI-UX/Research at SAP SuccessFactors (NYSE: SAP). Prior to these roles, she served as Group Marketing Manager at Intuit (NASDAQ: INTU) and has also provided consultative services to prominent brands such as LinkedIn (NASDAQ: MSFT), Ancestry, Yahoo!, and Sage/Intacct (LSE: SGE.L).
